Bartolomé Ferrando

Batolomé Ferrando was born in 1951 in Valencia, Spain.

Ferrando currently lives and works in Valencia, Spain. Professor in Performance and Intermedia Art at Valencia Polytechnical University.
Performer and visual poet. Coordinator of experimental poetry magazine Texto Poético.
Editor in magazines: Doc(k)s, Inter and Texturas.
As a performer he takes part in festivals and encounters held in Europe, Canada, Mexico, USA, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Israel, Dominican Republic, Argentine, Ecuador, Venezuela and Chile.
He exhibits his visual and concrete poetry in various cities in Spain, Italy and France.
Forms part of the groups Flatus Vocis Trio, Taller de Música Mundana, Rojo, SIC and JOP, who undertake creative practices half way between music, poetry and performance art.
Ferrando publishes essays about performance and visual poetry and poetry books in Spain.
