Miguel Ángel García
Photographer and visual artist, Miguel Ángel García (Madrid, 1952) has developed his creative activity on the basis of experimentation and fusion of disciplines and techniques around the world in the image.
In recent projects, developed after an intense documentary work, he has focused his artistic creation in a rereading of the territory, accumulating meanings in images, such as layers, as a synthesis and reflection on what each picture shows and hides.
His work has been shown in Madrid, New York, London, Paris, Delhi, Chennai, Rome, Sofía, Santiago de Chile, San Salvador, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro. He gets the Arte Laguna Prize in Venice and was nominated to the Prix Pictet in Switzerland.
He has works in public and private collections in Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, U.S.A., India, Chile and El Salvador.
