Flow Sea | March, 11th – May, 11th, 2013
Mar de fondo (Flow Sea) are sculptures and poetical objects that because of their shapes and materials reminds us to the serene world, but at the same time full of danger, of the abyss.
Remains of a shipwreck that came from an individual world, hiding dreams and nightmares, that had been stuck in the space of the gallery.
This works are objects which I have found and carefully manipulated them with my hands.
Proofs of the energy of beauty as an existencial thought, approaching to the concept of beauty that Susan Sonntag expressed in her argument, “Beauty is part of the history of idealiz-ing, which is itself part of the history of consolation “.
