Tot caminant entre idees. Walking through ideas

In this exhibition, Concha Jerez presents a reflection that traverses ideas that have generated projects and pieces made in Catalunya between 1979 and 2022.

It includes a selection of installation projects, three-dimensional pieces -some of them performative-, artist's books and site-specific interventions that dialogue with each other and with the exhibition space.

These works explore concepts of measurement, in-between spaces, limits of time, journeys between emptiness and non-emptiness, mental journeys, paths between ambiguities, reflections on structures of bureaucratic documents of the past and its conditioning aesthetics, and even those of a singular newspaper that, due to its name -La Vanguardia-, allows the artist to play both with its structures and with the irony of an artistic movement of the time.

This exhibition entitled "Tot caminant entre idees. Walking through ideas." travels through places of transit: Barcelona, Cadaqués, Girona, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Tarragona, Mataró, La Muga Caula..., for decades, with people who were complicit in the realization of the works, and over time.


The exhibition will be on at Estrany-de la Mota Art Advisors (Ptge. de Mercader, 18, 08008 Barcelona) from October 26 to December 15, Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 7 pm.
