Concha Jerez at the Brigitte Holbein March Gallery in Stuttgart

Brigitte March International Contemporary Art was founded on 5 November 1976 in Stuttgart by Brigitte Holbein March. In 1979 she initiated the internationally based project series TEMPORARY CONTEMPORARY ‘contemporary art at a temporary location’. In 1998, the gallery grew to a hall on Solitudestraße in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf, on the historic Solitude-Allee between Solitude Palace and Ludwigsburg Palace Residence.

The gallery focuses on conceptual art, photographs, installations, new media, video sculpture, sculpture, individual mythologies, computer art and painting.

The exhibition UNDER CONSTRUCTION: MOVING SCENES II shows works by internationally renowned artists who have both significantly shaped the art world and inspired the work of younger artists. 

The artists on show are Weiner, Les Levine, Richard Jackson, Muntadas, Attila Kovács, Timm Ulrichs, Ugo Dossi, Concha Jerez, Silvie Defraoui, Ulrike Rosenbach, Myra Brooklyn, Patrick Raynaud, Jean le Gac and Anne & Patrick Poirier. 

The exhibition is open from 21 February to 16 May 2025.
