Yani Pecanins dies

The Freijo Gallery grieves the death of the visual artist, editor and cultural promoter Yani Pecanins, who died this morning at the Spanish Sanatorium in Mexico City at the age of 62. Critic and curator Cuahtémoc Medina wrote on Twitter: "Pecanims was one of the main producers of the artist book movement in Mexico and one of the lead heads at the El Archivero".
