Two works by Natalia Cacchiareli selected for the 111th National Visual Arts Salon and the Banco Central 2023 Painting Prize

A piece from Natalia Cacchiarelli's series "As you are 2023" was selected for the 111th Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales (SNAV), organised by the Palacio Nacional de las Artes - Palais de Glace with the collaboration of the Secretaría de Patrimonio Cultural and the Dirección Nacional de Museos del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación, and will be on view until the 30th of October 2023.
The exhibition, comprised of 212 works selected from the 3,000 submitted by artists from all regions of Argentina, marks a growing federal participation in its 111th edition. The curatorship, in charge of Guillermina Mongan, explores the multiplicity of times that coexist in the artistic practices of the Salon. The histories of art, imaginaries about the future, memories and their insistence, and the relationship with our territories, are some of the nuclei that organise the curatorial proposal.
In addition, a piece from his "Tribeca Series 2023" was also selected for the Central Bank Painting Prize 2023. The selected works will go on to the final stage of the 16th edition of the Banco Central National Painting Prize and will be transported by the Central Bank from each artist's home to the space where they will be exhibited, thus underlining the federal sense of the Prize, which in this edition attracted 300 artists who do not live in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
