Bartolomé Ferrando, poet and visual performer, an essential reference in visual poetry and sound poetry, will be the next guest in #LdeLírica, a cycle of poetry sessions that takes place in different rooms of Ámbito Cultural of El Corte Inglés.
The performance will take place on Monday 28 April at 19:30 in the Sala de Ambito Cultural of El Corte Inglés de Callao.
Professor of Performance and Intermedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia. As a performer Ferrando has participated in festivals and meetings held in Europe, Canada, Mexico, USA, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam and Israel. He exhibits his visual and concrete poetry in various cities in Spain, Italy and France. He is a member of the groups Flatus Vocis Trio, Taller de Música Mundana, Rojo, SIC, JOP, Bregues de Moixos, Dosentredos and Trio poesía acción, dedicated to the development of creative practices halfway between music, poetry and action art. Editor of the magazines DOC(K)S, INTER, BOCA DE INCENDIO and TEXTURAS. In addition to Texto Poético, he has published the poetry books: Trazos; Propuestas poéticas; Jocs; Latidos; Valencia; En la frontera de la voz; Nudos de viento; Soledad magnética; Equilibrios y desequilibrios; In-significancias poéticas; Recorrido; Alfabeto de sombras, and the essays: Hacia una poesía del hacer; El arte intermedia; La mirada móvil; El arte de la performance, elementos de creación; Arte y cotidianeidad: hacia la transformación de la vida en arte and De la poesía visual al arte de acción.
